More crazy government bullshit in the Netherlands

Six months ago I warned you that the demented politicians ruling the largest food-exporting nation in Europe (the Netherlands) were bleating that to fight "global warming" their farmers must cut food production drastically.

How drastically?  The gruber-demons cited a *university report* saying that the Dutch livestock sector needed to be cut by, oh, 30 percent if the country was to comply with targets for nitrogen set by the all-knowing EU lackeys.  These are the demon apparatchiks who think ORDERING farmers to cut in half the amount of fertilizer they *graciously allow* farmers to use will cut global warming by a measurable amount.

Spoiler: it won't.  I'd show you the numbers but you wouldn't believe 'em anyway, so why bother?

The government also wants to limit the number of cows a farmer is permitted to own.  Right now the average is 3.5 cows per "soccer field"--a figure determined by centuries of experience.  But the demons are demanding this be cut to TWO cows per "soccer field."

You may well wonder how the demons arrived at that particular number, instead of 1.5 or 1.0.  Simple: their communist allies at the university pulled it out of their asses.  Totally random number.  And the next ORDER will be to 1.5 or one.

See, it's really about control.

The fact that the gruber-demons were about to ORDER farmers to cut their herds back to some arbitrary lower numbers of cows per acre was only discovered when the government document was obtained by a broadcaster.  That document quotes a report from a university claiming that the Dutch livestock sector needed to be cut by 30 percent.  And of course since it's from a university that makes it totally correct, eh? 

The government's "minister for agriculture" reacted angrily to the leak, which revealed other proposed anti-farm government policies.  “I am incredibly disappointed that there is a leak. It is bad because it is not helpful to the process,” he told MPs.

Utterly classic: He doesn't apologize for the proposed anti-farm policies, but ensures the Media know he's angry *that those policies were leaked.*  All government lackeys are lying, deadly rat-bastards.

Now: Food exports account for half of the export earnings of the Netherlands.  Scrap that and what happens?  Government revenue is cut.  Then what?  Government must raise taxes to cover the revenue shortfall, like every other socialist government in the world.

Who pays the extra taxes?  Ordinary citizens, just as here in the U.S.

But wait...it gets worse: When the supply of any un-substitutable necessity is reduced, what ALWAYS happens to its price?

If you're a Democrat you probably have no idea.  Answer is, it rises--sometimes exponentially, depending on how badly its needed.  And food is needed, eh?

So the drop in food production by farmers in the Netherlands cuts world supply.  Price increases.  

EU residents discovered the link between the scarcity of a necessary and its price when exports of affordable Russian gas were cut as a means of retaliating against Russia for its invasion: the price of electricity skyrocketed.  But will they make the connection between reduced food output and rising food prices?

Not a chance in hell.  Their government rulers will ensure that state-run media blame "climate change" or Russia or cosmic rays or Trump--anything but the policies of the ruling socialists and "watermelons" (fake green enviros on the outside, red communists inside).

I've got enough money to be comfortable for my remaining years.  But I feel sorry for the kids: they didn't vote for the demons and have done nothing to deserve the misery that's coming.  The blame lies with the Mainstream Media, because they parrot the lies of the Democrat/liberal regime.  They could confront the liars (Fauci et al), but they won't.

There's still barely time to recover, by voting out every Democrat, RINO and socialist, locking down our borders and banning ALL foreign aid.  The U.S. can survive totally self-contained.

Unfortunately the time left to recover is rapidly running out.  And based on the big trends I see today, not enough Americans will recognize the danger until too late.
