Trump: "Next they'll be removing statues of Jefferson and Washington." NBC: "Nonsense." Reality: "Trump wins again"

In 2017 wacked-out leftist mobs were toppling or ordering the removal of statues of Abraham f'n LINCOLN.  Considering that, Trump warned that it probably wouldn't be long before the mob would be toppling or removing statues of Washington and Jefferson.

The leftists at NBC sneered that that prediction was silly.  They took to twatter to sniff "Why statues of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson aren't 'next,' as President Trump suggested."  The sneer was almost audible.

And like most leftist declarations of future events, this one didn't age well.

The Jefferson statue was taken down at the insistence of a black councilman, who said he was offended. Once again, Trump was right.
