Biden Wednesday: "$450,000 payment to each illegal? Garbage. Won't happen" Today: "They deserve compensation"

If you pay attention to the daily embarrassment provided by the illegitimate regime that controls every branch of the federal gruberment, last Wednesday you heard that the biden regime is "negotiating with ACLU attorneys" representing illegal aliens, to settle lawsuits filed by the ACLU against the government.  The proposed settlement would have the biden regime pay every "family member" of illegal immigrant families $450,000 if the parents were separated from their children--after entering the United States illegally.  

For young Americans and Democrats, that means "in violation of U.S. law."

That was revealed last Wednesday, and that afternoon reporter Peter Doocey asked prezit Porridgebrain if that was true.  Porridgebrain snorted that the idea was absurd, calling the story "garbage."  

“That’s not gonna happen,” he said flatly.

That statement lit a fire under the ACLU attorneys, who felt their one-third of the total settlement might be in danger.  They suggested that biden “may not have been fully briefed” about what his own administration was doing.

Gosh, wonder who was out of the loop, eh?

Sure enough, the next day White House deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre contradicted Biden’s denial, saying “The president is perfectly comfortable with the Department of Justice settling with the individuals and families who are currently in litigation with the US government.”

So Jean-Pierre was tacitly admitting that either no one at the DOJ had bothered to brief the preznit on what they were doing, or that Porridgebrain had forgotten.

And sure enough, today--just 3 days after Porridgebrain claimed the story was "garbage," and "That's not gonna happen--biden seems to have either been briefed or perhaps just remembered that yes, illegal aliens have sued the U.S. government for separating them from their kids at the border, and DOJ attorneys are negotiating settlement payments of around $450,000 per *person* in each family.

So today, without missing a beat, biden angrily yelled that the illegals deserved the huge payout, saying “Whether [the border crossing] was legal or illegal, and you lost your child,” Biden thundered. “You deserve some kind of compensation, no matter what the circumstance."

“What that will be,” he added, “I have no idea.”

Now, wanna know how those so-called "negotiations" between biden's DOJ and the ACLU were handled?  
   ACLU attorney: "My clients demand $450,000 per family member."
   DOJ "negotiator":  "Okay, but we get to write the press release, and you agree to say your initial demand was for twice that amount but that we negotiated you down."
   ACLU attorney: "Geez, you guys are REALLY tough negotiators!  But okay."
