PhD "educator" demands that white kids be taught to feel guilty about being white--and that you shouldn't worry about that!

Watch as an "educator" in Denve--a lesbian PhD--bleats "We need to make white kids feel guilty about being white," and "We shouldn't worry about making white kids feel bad."

(If the above link no longer works, use this one.)

The White-hating, guilt-ridden Ms. Harvey wrote Raising White Kids in a Racially Unjust America.

Y'know, neither I nor any of my family ever owned a slave.  In fact, no living American did.  Furthermore, no living American ever WAS a slave.  So while I have empathy for those who actually WERE slaves, I feel zero guilt that slavery existed, since I had nothing whatsoever to do with the establishment of it, either in the U.S. or anywhere else in the world.

No one asked me.  I didn't get to vote on it, or even to express an opinion.  It's sad that people suffered, but in no conceivable way is it my fault--or the fault of anyone else who wasn't alive then.

Perhaps an example will get people like Harvey to understand:  In WW2, when Americans invade the Japanese-held island of Saipan, as the long, bloody battle unfolded the Japanese retreated to clifftops.  Some of the officers had their families with them.  The men threw their family members off the cliffs to certain death rather than allow them to fall into the hands of the Americans--who showed almost no hostility to civilian non-combatants.

I feel sorry for those women and children who were thrown to their deaths, totally needlessly.  But I don't feel even a bit of guilt--and I suspect if you were to confront the moronic lesbian Jen Harvey with this example, even she would deny feeling any guilt about that tragedy.

And yet she demands--demands--that your innocent children feel guilty for things they had no part in.

Update: More on this wacko.  A fawning white female interviewer wrote that a black supremacist gave Harvey "a framework for understanding white supremacy.  Feminism, queer theory and other things were also in the intellectual mix.  Her first book was titled Whiteness and Morality: Pursuing Racial Justice through Reparations and Sovereignty (2007).  You won't be surprised to learn that she's a strong pusher for "reparations."
