Like all bureaucrats, the folks who run the FDA want to control everything you do.  They heard some Americans were taking a well-known drug for a use the bureaucrats hadn't approved!

"OMG, we CANNOT allow that!"  So they issued a "press release."  And it's classic:

There seems to be a growing interest in a drug called ivermectin to treat humans with COVID-19. Ivermectin is often used in the U.S. to treat or prevent parasites in animals. 

Here’s What You Need to Know about Ivermectin

• FDA has not approved ivermectin for use in treating or preventing COVID-19 in humans. Ivermectin tablets are approved at very specific doses for some parasitic worms, and there are topical (on the skin) formulations for head lice and skin conditions like rosacea. Ivermectin is not an anti-viral (a drug for treating viruses). 
• The FDA has not reviewed data to support use of ivermectin in COVID-19 patients to treat or to prevent COVID-19;

Wait... they claim it's NOT an anti-viral, then say they haven't reviewed data supporting its use against the Chinese bio-weapon.  If that last statement is accurate, how can they support their blanket, unequivocal assertion that it is NOT an anti-viral?  

They can't.

But of course the FDA is lying.  Unless they're ALL incompetent (like the fraud Fauci) they HAVE seen the same half-dozen studies I've read, all of which show the drug is indeed effective against the virus.  They just don't want to admit that it's effective.  And yet they know the drug is safe, cuz the faaabulous FDA approved it years ago for...some other malady.  So they can't argue that it's unsafe.

What they CAN do...and are doing with this press release...is saying they haven't approved it for THIS USE.  Cuz that might make more Americans decide that they're more willing to NOT take the highly... unusual...vaccine.

Hey, can't have THAT, eh?  Gotta get that needle into every person on the planet so we can end the endless lockdowns, right?

Oh wait, fraud Fauci has said the vax doesn't help with the lockdowns, that we'll be doing lockdowns thru next year.  Oh well...
