Liberal city council votes to pay $25,000 to black residents as "reparations." Just the beginning, say Democrats

The liberal city council of the rich university town of Evanston, Illinois has voted to pay $25,000 in "reparations" to any black person who lived in the town between 1919 and 1969, and to descendants of such residents.  Reason?  Liberal council members feel guilty about past discrimination.

Evanston is the first city to pay such "reparations."  But I know you'll all be surprised to read that some of the people who are in line to get the cash don't think it's enough.

The president of the Evanston chapter of the NAACP, Michael Nabors, thinks $25,000 is a "drop in the bucket."

Fortunately for Nabors and other liberals, the Democrats who control both chambers of congress have voted to form a commission to study the idea of paying cash "reparations" to every black person in this nation.  In other words, if you're not black you'll be forced to pay, even if you just arrived here, or arrived after slavery was outlawed.  Or your ancestors lived here before then but never owned slaves.

Hey, it's only fair, right?  Cuz Democrats are all about "fairness," citizen.  And if you're white and your family got here in 1900, it's only fair that you pay reparations for something you had nothing to do with, right?  Cuz...as they keep endlessly telling us..."Democrats are all about "fairness," citizen."

Since the Dems now control every branch of government, I wonder if anyone can predict what amount the commission will recommend?

Here's a hint:  it will be a lot more than $25,000.  You can also be assured that however large a payment the Democrat-ruled commission recommends, a huge number of blacks will say it's not enough.

This one-party-rule stuff is really cool, eh?  Just like Venezuela, Cuba, China, Russia, North Korea et al.  I mean, look how well it works for them, eh?

Sure glad those clever Democrats in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Arizona managed to pump enough fake numbers into the election results to get rid of that awful Orange Man who wrote all those mean tweets, eh?

Update:  The Democrat party that runs Oregon has upped the bidding for reparations, vowing to give all blacks in that state a princely $123,000 in reparations.  Republicans--in the minority in shitholes like Oregon and DC--claimed the offer could cost Oregon taxpayers over $11 TRILLION over the next 30 years.

Fortunately you don't live in Oregon, so why should you care about this?  Answer is that with Oregon's $123,000 offer already on the table, the corrupt, anti-freedom Democrats who run congress will be determined to beat it to get bragging rights to virtue.  My guess is Pelosi's Dems will offer at least $200,000.
