Biden*Harris decree: Taxpayers will be forced to repay a billion dollars of bad student loan debt. (Just the first step)

The spiral down to pure socialism continues at a lightning pace.

The Biden administration just reversed a controversial Trump-era policy [only controversial to Democrats and Dem-loving Mainstream Media] that will "cancel" roughly $1 billion in student debt for borrowers who were defrauded by their colleges.

The decree--not approved by congress, nor submitted for approval--will "forgive"--"cancel"--student loans for 73,000 people who were "deemed eligible" for the relief by earlier Democrats but received only partial loan forgiveness.

 

Of course what the socialist, vote-bribing Democrats actually mean by "forgive" is that all American taxpayers will now be forced--on threat of prison if they refuse--to repay those student loans to the banks that loaned the money to the students, under insane Democrat programs in the first place.  

Of course "forgiveness" doesn't even remotely explain that little detail, and sounds so...generous, magnanimous, wonderful, warm, fuzzy, vote-getting, so it's no wonder the Dems and their media allies use that instead of the less-wonderful truth.

 

Announcing the new decree, Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona said "Borrowers deserve a simplified and fair path to relief when they have been harmed by their institution's misconduct.  These borrowers have been harmed and we will grant them a fresh start from their debt."

 

In other news, co-presidents HarrisBiden announced that any home-buyer who finds themselves unhappy with their home can have their mortgage paid off by the government.  Same for people who get shafted in a divorce--Harris said "These people deserve a simplified and fair path to relief when they've been harmed by a nasty white male spouse."
