Wash Post shuts down their "fact-checking" operation...on the very day Biden* took office
Just after president Trump was inaugurated, the Washington Post set up an office to identify and headline what it claimed were false claims made by the president. Okay, the press should be a watchdog over presidents and governments, should take an adversarial position. Should emphatically NOT just blythely nod and agree with whatever a president does, eh?
But of course, that was then. And now that the media have had time to reflect, y'know all that lofty talk about "watchdog" and "fact-checking the president"? They weren't really serious about it.
In fact, you may have a hard time believing this is true, but...On the very day Biden* was inaugurated, the Post announced it was ending the false-claims project launched at the beginning of former President Donald Trump’s term, and said it had no plans to launch a similar project as Biden* begins his term of hugely praised errors.
I know...it's really hard to believe they'd shut it down on the very day Biden* mumbled his faaabulous inaugural address. Cuz, well, the Post commies sounded SO convincing with that "oversight" and "adversarial position" bullshit, eh? But now that their co-presidents are ruling, there's no more need for fact-checking.
Not a smidgen of media bias, eh?
