The Left has been fighting a war for 60 years. We just didn't recognize it

 

Since 1945, except for the elections of Nixon and Donald Trump the Left in this country has won virtually every point of conflict on U.S. policy.  The reason is that the Left has been fighting a war against the rest of us.  We just didn't realize it.

Now some fans of the Constitution and freedom are starting to wake up.  Not enough yet.  But it's a start.

For the past 60 years, while our side naively played by the rules, the Left has been fighting a war, using tactics later written by Saul Alinsky in "Rules for Radicals" (1971).

Alinsky was very open about his goal of destroying America as we knew it.  And in case you didn't pick up on whose side he was on, would you dedicate your book to someone you admired or loved, or someone you disliked?  Alinsky dedicated his book to...well, take a look at his own words, printed right below the phrase "To Irene" (clearly a dedication):

Note Alinsky's cunning word use:  "...the first radical...who rebelled against the establishment."  Hmm, that sounds...odd.  Cuz I was under the impression that Lucifer rebelled against God.  But it sounds so much LESS offensive to couch Lucifer's rebellion as being against..."the establishment," eh?  For one thing, that personalizes The Establishment as a valid target, which Alinsky wanted his followers to do.  It also conveniently takes God out of the equation, lest a small number of insufficiently committed leftists might decide rebelling against God was a bit over the top.

Interestingly, when word of Alinsky's dedication to Lucifer went viral before the 2016 election, many voters asked so-called "fact-checking" sites if it was true. The lying left-wing rat-bastards at Snopes --which Fakebook and Twatter consider a "fact-checking" site--said the claim was false--apparently because the dedication didn't include the exact phrase "This book is dedicated to Satan."  But as you guessed, Snopes cunningly avoided providing the relevant paragraph.  Readers can decide for themselves whether the leftist shill-site was lying.

Alinsky had exactly the view of American society that you would predict, writing 

As the young looked at the society around them, it was all, in their words, "materialistic, decadent, bourgeois in its values, bankrupt and violent." Is it any wonder that they rejected us?

And his fix would destroy cities, bankrupt the safety nets and increase violence.  How...logical!  At least logical if you're a coddled snowflake student at an exclusive university, or a drug-addled junkie in Seattle or Portland.

Alinsky's goal--to destroy America as we knew it--quickly attracted lots of fawning, gushing fans.  One of those would later be a senator and Obama's secretary of state, and would come within 100,000 votes of being president:  Hilliary Clinton, who wrote her capstone these at Wellesley on Alinsky.

Barack Obama would later use Alinsky's template to lie about the shooting of Mike Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, after the 300-pound Brown tried to wrestle a cop's gun away from him.  Obama's lies resulted in the mob destroying much of the town of Ferguson and fanned black anger and anti-white, anti-cop hate--because all three help increase votes for Democrat candidates.

On September 11th, 2012, Muslim fighters attacked the "annex" to the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, Libya.  The attack was carefully planned, as evidenced by the use of mortars by the attackers.  (For college-age Americans who aren't military, mortars are far too large to fit in your pocket.)  Four Americans were killed, including our ambassador.  Alinsky fan--now Obama's secretary of state--Hilliary ordered rescue forces to stand down, then lied that the attacks were "spontaneous," triggered by an internet video critical of Islam.

Later examination of her emails--which she believed would never be discovered--showed that she knew her cover story was false.

The Left has been engaged in a war against America since the 1960s. To them it has been an all-out war where no tactic is off-limits.  They use violence, the threat of violence, demagoguery and endless lies, echoed by every Mainstream Media outlet--and now pushed by social media.  They're very proficient at it because they've had decades of practice.

By contrast, conservatives have continued to follow the rules of civil behavior, to obey the law and not burn down cities.  We're kind of old-fashioned that way.  But in war--for those who are finally prepared to believe we're in one--if you insist on behaving by the rules of civilized society, you lose.  It's that simple.

Like conservatives everywhere, Donald Trump recognized that one huge problem in the U.S. was that the Mainstream Media constantly lied.  But no president before Trump had ever said that in public.  Trump told the truth, in public, and the public roared their agreement.  The Media responded by redoubling their efforts to portray everything Trump did as bad.  

If the media were to start honestly reporting the news, it would be the end of the Democratic Party they serve.  Only the constant stream of lies (read: propaganda) from the fake news keeps the Left competitive.

Imagine, for example, if CNN had honestly and accurately reported on the refusal of then-candidate Barack Obama to release his birth certificate.  Odd, eh?  Or on his totally sealed college records.  Or his close ties to foreign terrorists (Rashid Khalidi), domestic terrorists (William Ayers & Bernardine Dohrn), the mafia (Tony Rezko) or the true evils of his spiritual mentor, Jeremiah Wright’s church.  That would be the Jeremian Wright who is on video yelling "It's not 'God bless America,' it's 'God damn America."  

(If you're a college-age American you may not know that Wright actually yelled that, in church, from the pulpit.  Yet Obama said he'd never heard anything amiss in all the years he'd been a member of that "church."  Seriously, Obama said that.)

Unfortunately the Left has seen to it that we no longer live in a time when elections are honest or when the Constitution is considered the law of the land.  So it would appear that the only remaining option is some form of more active opposition.

The Left and the Democrats chose to brazenly steal the elections because they knew they'd never be called to account for their treachery.  They knew none of the fraudsters would ever be fired or jailed or executed.  They believed--and continue to believe--that conservative will meekly accept their theft and obey like good serfs.

Unless you're willing to meekly accept that, the options are...not easy.  

But the Left has been fighting without opposition for the past 60 years.  It seems to me to be long past time to fight back--however you think that can best be accomplished.
