AOC claims not a single Democrat House candidate pushed to defund the cops or pushed socialist policies

Democrat rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a flat-out communist.  As such, she lies for a living--and the Lying Mainstream Media loves her--eagerly hangs on her every word.

Latest example: This morning Dem-supporting CNN invited AOC to appear on their “State of the Union” program, allowing her to say without asking her a single question that no member of the Democratic Party campaigned on “socialism or defunding the police in this general election.”

She called charges that Dems wanted to defund the police, or advance socialism--something AOC herself has called for--"effective Republican attacks" on Democrats, saying "the question is how do we defend ourselves against that?"

If you look at some of, you know, some of the arguments being advanced, that defund the police or arguments about socialism hurt, not a single member of Congress that I’m aware of campaigned on socialism or defunding the police in this general election.”

These were largely slogans, or demands from activist groups that we saw in the largest uprising in American history around police brutality. 

Ah, I see.  So when the Dem-controlled city councils of Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis, New York City and Los Angeles demanded that the police be defunded, you're claiming not a single Democrat candidate endorsed that demand?  The just sat quietly as all the dirty-work was done by low-level Democrats on the councils?  Is that what you're now claiming?

Hey, with brazen lies like that, Joe will probably give you a prestigious cabinet position!
