Biden totally reverses yesterday's comment about blacks, says "In no way did I mean to suggest..."
Yesterday Joe Biden, on a video livestream, implied that while Hispanics have a wide range of views on things, blacks don't. That is, he implies that blacks think alike on issues--are monolithic.
Not surprisingly, this triggered a firestorm of criticism. I posted an analysis here. and said the guy had only a few options, one of which was to say he didn't mean what he said. And would you believe, that's just what he did:
In case Twatter deletes that, he said "Earlier today, I made some comments about diversity in the African American and Latino communities that I want to clarify. In no way did I mean to suggest the African American community is a monolith—not by identity, not on issues, not at all."
Interesting. Of course the Mainstream Media will totally ignore this, cuz it makes voters think that just maybe Biden might not be all that competent.
