Judge in NY orders thousands of mail-in ballots counted despite not being postmarked
If you've been paying attention to politics you may have heard that the Democrats are screaming their damn heads off demanding that every state go to total vote by mail. Sound familiar?
As you could expect, conservatives have countered that this vastly increases the likelihood of both deliberate fraud, and simple carelessness losing votes.
Of course Democrats retort that there's no vote fraud. Oh, you bet. Just like every family saved $2500 per month by going on Obamacare. Uh-huh.
To show you what a farce the Dems' all-mail voting is, consier this: The laws in most states require that mail ballots be postmarked, and that the date be on or before the day of the election. The idea behind that was to TRY to make it harder for one party to fraudulently fill out a few thousand ballots per county but NOT put 'em in unless they needed to. Having a postmark at least made it a BIT harder to cheat (unless the cheaters have a private postmark machine. Oh, wait..)
In other words, it's against the law to count a ballot postmarked later than election day...or not having a postmark at all.
Ah, well...as the saying goes, the Democrats never found a law they couldn't break with total impunity. And in Dem-ruled New York a judge just RULED that "thousands" of ballots from that state's recent primaries, that had no postmark at all, had to be counted.
I'm not making this up. Seems like the judge just did what amounts to overturning the law for mail-in voting. But without saying they were overturning it. Interesting.
You can expect this in every battleground state in November.
