Suspect in murder of 11-year-old black boy in D.C. is released without posting bond

On the 4th of July six black youngsters--four of them girls under 9 years old!--were fatally shot...by other blacks.  One of the victims was 11-year-old Davon McNeal, in the Democrat-ruled shithole that our nation's capital city has become.

Turns out one of the suspects in the murder, Christian Wingfield, had been in the D.C. jail for "felon in possession of a firearm," but had been released on May 22 because some Democrat bureaucrat was afraid the poor thing might be in danger of getting the Chinese virus!  No bond required, of course.

But hey, no risk to the public, citizen, cuz Wingfield who would think a felon having a firearm might be dangerous, eh?  And the Democrats who are charged with protecting the public from dangerous criminals DID deny Wingfield's initial request for release due to the pandemic.  So shut up.  But his attorney filed a second motion, arguing that Wingfield had a minimal criminal history, family ties to the District and did not pose a risk to the community, and the bureaucrats agreed to release him.

But lest you think the Democrats were either incompetent or careless about public safety, cops say he was under "high-intensity supervision" with a curfew and GPS monitoring.

See, that's the kind of tough law-and-order enforcement that makes D.C. one of our safest Democrat-ruled cities, citizen.  "We know he won't go out cuz we put a GPS monitor on him!"

Sure.  And it works exactly as well as ordering the convicted felon not to possess a gun, eh?  Yeah, sure.

Wingfield's alleged "high-intensity supervision" with curfew and GPS monitoring were still in effect when he killed 11-year-old Davon.  So it worked.  Well, it worked as well as the Dem rulers expected.  Which is to say, Wingfield had cut off the monitor.

Wow, who could have predicted that, eh?

Police say there are four other suspects in the shooting in addition to Wingfield.  Two are still not in custody.  One of those has two prior gun arrests as well as multiple other charges but was free on reasons.  The other is a convicted felon out on supervised probation. He was arrested this past spring and charged as a felon in possession of a firearm, but astonishingly (and predictably) the Dem rulers had released him back into the community despite unequivocally being a felon caught possessing a gun.

But hey, who would expect any risk from a felon with a gun, eh?  Certainly the Democrats who rule D.C. and shithole Baltimore claimed not to see any risk at all, eh?

Keep in mind that it's not the cops who say whether a suspect is released, but District Attorneys, who are political creatures who take their cues from mayors.
