Statue of George Washington beheaded at...George Washington University; admins don't even acknowledge it
One of the absolutely unequivocal signs that people running an organization are determined to hide the truth is when they suppress information they don't want you to know.
Sorry if that was too obvious.
Example: George Washington University is named for...um...some old guy who did sumpin' a gazillion years ago, but it ain't no big deal cuz he owned slaves!
The university displayed a bust of our nation's first president and the general who arguably led our successful fight for independence. You'd think this would be significant to every American, including blacks. But of course....
On June 1st someone knocked the bust off its pedestal.
The university's adminishits never mentioned it. Of course not. Cuz, reasons.
If they'd said anything about someone knocking the head of the university's namesake off its pedestal it might have created..."consternation." "Controversy." Might have drawn peoples' attention to the rioting, looting mobs.
Hey, can't have THAT, eh? Cuz every university prof and adminishit is, like, totally supportive of tearing down the United States for da cause, comrades!
Even the student newspaper didn't say a single word about the...incident...for 17 days--and then only obliquely, in posting a log of boring crimes on campus. Every student knew about the vandalism, of course, but no one wanted to say anything cuz, hey, we need to tear down all statues of Washington, cuz...reasons.
See, it's way mo important to tear down all da statues of Washington, cuz, like, all college students are, like, totes down wit' da struggle, comrade.
So...based on the silence of the administrators and stuents at GWU regarding this wanton destruction of a statue of their namesake, does anyone think these same administrators and students would support tearing down every statue of Washington in the U.S.?
