Attorney-general of lib cesspool: "Yes, America is burning, but that's how forests grow."

Attorney-generals of states are supposedly the top law-enforcement officers in their states.  So when an A-G says something pertaining to law, it's a signal to everyone down the organizational chart--including police.

Maura Healey is the A-G of Massachusetts, and a thorough Democrat.  A couple of days after the death of George Floyd, Healey gave a speech in which she said
“Yes, America is burning, but that’s how forests grow.”
Fascinating.  Sounds like she's fine with the arson, looting, vandalism and other violence..but that can't possibly be true, can it?  I mean, it's crazy.  So let's parse her statement more closely:

First, note the use of the passive voice: "America is burning."   Like, maybe, spontaneous combustion or something.  No one actually lit the thousands of businesses on fire, it just...happened, y'know?

Probably defective wiring or sumpin', eh?  In fact I'll bet a dozen law firms are drafting class-action suits right now, looking to cash in on all that defective wiring!  Or maybe circuit breakers.  Lotsa defective circuit breakers, right?

Next, "forests."  Forests are wonderful, right?  Every American loves forests.  So who could possibly object to the metaphor of forests growing, eh?  More of those wonderful green trees, growing, reaching for the sky, turning nasty carbon dioxide into wonderful, life-giving oxygen!  I can almost see Julie Andrews on that mountaintop in Austria.

So it seems pretty clear that the attorney-general of Massachusetts was using an unequivocally soothing, wholesome, beneficial metaphor to describe America burning.  But of course the enlightened, caring voters of Massachusetts will re-elect her over and over again.  Cuz, Democrat.
