Lying Mainstream Media gloats that the ICE effort to deport illegals yesterday failed

If you get any of your news from the Lying Mainstream Media you may have heard that the world was ending yesterday.  Reason?  ICE was planning to try to arrest illegal alien invaders--the invaders the Mainstream Media and Democrats cunningly call "immigrants"--who had been ordered by a court to be deported.

Predictably, the Lying Mainstream Media warned that this was The End of The World:  "Da eeebil OrangeMan's jackbooted thugs are TERRORIZING perfectly innocent people!  They're ripping chillens from their mothers' arms!  These poor refugees didn't break any laws--well, no law that we Democrats believe should be enforced--so why do Trump's Nazi thugs want to deport them?

Yeah, crap like that.

Of course announcing the operation two weeks ahead of time gave all the illegals ample time to hide or prepare to Resist.

And in a demonstration of how much Democrats support illegal immigration, Nancy Pelosi and a dozen other Democrat congresswhores printed--at taxpayer expense!--flyers telling the illegals how to avoid being arrested by ICE:  Don't open your door, don't answer any questions and so on.

So even if the operation hadn't been announced, Democrats gave the targets ammunition to avoid being deported.

So with all that self-crippling, what was the result of the operation?

Zero.

The Wall Street Journal--not exactly a left-wing paper--reported it like this:

In New York City, ICE agents went to residences in the Harlem section of Manhattan and Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood, the person said. The agents were rejected by people at the residences because they didn’t have warrants, according to the person. New York City officials said Sunday there was no indication that they had returned.

ICE agents were put on standby for potential raids...and while some operations [took place] in [a few] cities, agents were never given an order to execute on a nationwide scale, an administration official said. 

Protests were held in many of the cities Friday and Saturday. Immigrant-rights advocates vowed to protect undocumented residents they say are being victimized by the Trump administration for political reasons.

Just so we're crystal-clear here:  The targets of this operation had been ordered deported by a federal judge.  The administration was enforcing those orders, as the Constitution demands.  And yet the WSJ described this as "undocumented residents--[not "illegal aliens who have been ordered deported by a judge] " ..being victimized by the Trump administrations for political reasons."  Which is a complete, brazen lie, but which the Journal's reporting passes on without a word of demurral.  The article doesn't explain why the line "undocumented residents say they are being victimized" is complete and utter horse shit.

And this is the damn Wall Street Journal defending the illegals!  But of course if you read the WSJ you know the reporters are like all reporters:  totally left-liberal.  A couple of the editors are conservative, but other than a few editorials the paper actually slants slightly left.

Many of the immigrants, they ["immigrant-rights activists] said, fled violence in countries such as Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador and face possible harm if they are sent back.  Officials in some of the cities...offered their help to any immigrant who needs it. 

Note the deliberate, cunning use of "immigrant" in the 'graf above--as opposed to the accurate term "illegal alien invader."  Reporters do this because they know 1) Americans actually love LEGAL immigrants; 2) that the casual reader will confuse the two terms; and 3) that not one reader out of 100,000 actually reads critically.

“This craven action [i.e. enforcing a court order] may motivate his political base, but it does nothing to make us safer and only leaves migrants at further risk of abuse, disease and death,” Vanita Gupta, [CEO of one of the thousands of left-wing open-borders advocate groups] said.

Vanita Gupta?  Wait, that sounds familiar.  Oh yeah:  Her last job was Obozo's appointee as "Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General and head of the Civil Rights Division at the U.S. Department of Justice" --a post she held until January 20, 2017, when the U.S. began to reassert a modicum of a rule of law.

Vanita's the one who threatened to sue the city of Lakewood, Colorado for posting an ad seeking police officers, in which one of the criteria was "Must be a U.S. citizen."


Did you get that?  Gupta--representing the power of the lawless Obama regime--just decreed (and that's exactly what it was, with Obama's approval) that police departments would be forced to hire non-U.S. citzens.


Cuz who could be better suited to enforcing U.S. laws than foreign citizens, eh citizen?


But I digress.  Point is that the operation to deport illegals yielded nothing.


Oh wait...according to the Lying Media it was a "craven action" by the eeebil OrangeMan to "motivate his base."  So the media have probably succeeded in getting another 100,000 potential Trump voters to stay home in 2020.
