Big development in Epstein case: U.S. court of appeals panel rules to unseal 2,000 pages of testimony
There's lots of speculation and squirrely theories surrounding the Epstein case. But when you get a highly unusual ruling from a federal court, that's pretty solid stuff.
In this case a 3-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit has ruled that some 2,000 pages of previously-sealed testimony in the Jeffrey Epstein case can be unsealed.
Unsealing previously-sealed testimony is...unusual, to say the least.
Unfortunately this doesn't mean the documents WILL be made public, because people named in the docs have two weeks to file motions asking that the decision by the 3-judge panel be reviewed by the entire court.
It will be interesting and informative to see the names of those filing such motions, since it's even more unusual for people to be able to file court motions anonymously.
My guess is that the entire court will reverse the ruling by the 3-judge panel. Reason: The Democrats simply cannot let this case go to trial. So they'll find a way to prevent it, no matter what it takes.
