Ruth Bader-Ginsburg says her mind is as sharp as ever, won't retire

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Dismissing rumors that she might be retiring soon, supreme court justice Ruth Bader-Ginsburg told reporters that she is “mentally fit enough to serve through the end of President Eisenhower’s term in office.”

She made the comments just after her second morning nap, telling the press “not to worry” about her mental state.

“I can out-wait Ike,” she said, grinning. “I’m not gonna retire and let Eisenhower appoint a conservative to replace me.  No sirree.  I’ll wait until one of those handsome Kennedy boys runs for president, and then we’ll get a solid left-wing judge in my place.  The good Democrats of this nation deserve it.”
