Soros and top Dem contributors meeting in D.C. to steer the Dem party even farther left--while claiming to be for working folks

For those who aren't that political, the website "Politico" is a 100% Democrat-supporting outfit.  They just ran a story titled "Soros bands with donors to resist Trump, 'take back power'."

If you haven't browsed leftist sites it's hard to believe how malevolent, how anti-American, anti-conservative, pro-communist these people are.  Only by going to their own damn website and reading their own words do you come away convinced.

To give you an idea of their politics, the same page linked to "The trouble with the electoral college."

Yeah, these worthless, anti-Americans want to abolish the electoral college system of electing presidents and hand the decision to the big states.

Constitution?  Never heard of it.

They say they want a "fair and just society" but their idea of "justice" is giving amnesty to anyone here illegally. In other words, rewarding those who break American law.  Yeah, some justice.

From the Politico piece:
George Soros and other rich liberals who spent tens of millions of dollars trying to elect Hillary Clinton are gathering in Washington for a three-day, closed door meeting to retool the big-money left to fight back against Donald Trump.
Remember when the emperor was elected?  All the Republicans who vowed to "fight back against Barack Obama"?  Oh wait, they didn't.  Even after the Repubs won control of both houses of congress they continued to give the emperor everything he wanted.

Imagine if the Repubs had said they wanted to "fight back against Obama."  The Lying Media would have been screaming about how anti-American that was, and how everyone should support the president no matter what.  Yeah.
The conference...is sponsored by the influential Democracy Alliance donor club, and will include appearances by leaders of most leading unions and liberal groups, as well as darlings of the left such as House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Congressional Progressive Caucus co-chairman Keith Ellison...

The meeting is the first major gathering of the institutional left since Trump’s shocking victory over Hillary Clinton in last week’s presidential election, and, if the agenda is any indication, liberals plan full-on trench warfare against Trump from Day One. Some sessions...focus on thwarting President-elect Trump’s 100-day plan, which the agenda calls “a terrifying assault on President Obama’s achievements — and our progressive vision for an equitable and just nation.”
There's that call for "equitable and just."  Except they mean "our people get to break your law, cuz we don't agree with it!"  Some equity, eh?
Another liberal operative...rejected the notion that the group — or the left — needed to completely retool its approach to politics.  “We should not learn the wrong lesson from this election,” said the operative, pointing out that Clinton is on track to win the popular vote and that Trump got fewer votes than the last GOP presidential nominee.
[Gara LaMarche is president of the DA.  Keith Ellison--Democrat from Minnesota--is the first muslim elected to congress.]
As liberals look to rebuild the post-Clinton Democratic Party on a more aggressively liberal bearing, Ellison has emerged as a top candidate to take over the Democratic National Committee, and he figures to be in high demand at the DA meeting.
The Democracy Alliance was launched after the 2004 election by [George] Soros...and a handful of fellow Democratic mega-donors who had combined to spend tens of millions trying to boost then-Sen. John Kerry’s ultimately unsuccessful challenge to then-President George W. Bush.
The donors’ goal was to seed a set of advocacy groups and think tanks that could push the party and its politicians to the left while also defending them against attack from the right.
The group requires its members — a group that now numbers more than 100 and includes finance titans like Soros, Tom Steyer and Donald Sussman, as well as major labor unions and liberal foundations — to contribute a total of at least $200,000 a year to recommended groups. Members also pay annual dues of $30,000 to fund the DA staff and its meetings.
Since 2005 the DA has [given more than] $500 million to a range of groups, including pillars of the political left such as Media Matters, the Center for American Progress and the data firm Catalist — all of which are run by Clinton allies who are expected to send representatives to the DA meeting.
You should probably read that again:  In just 11 years this group has given more than half a billion dollars to left-wing groups.  And yet they're always wailing about big-money having an awful influence on politics.  Of course that's just theater--propaganda to get Republicans to think twice before donating.  Dems *love* money in politics--as long as it's going to their party.
During the presidential primaries Soros argued that Trump and his GOP rival Ted Cruz were “doing the work of ISIS.”
Meanwhile Obama and Hillary were giving ISIS-aligned groups in Syria U.S.-made shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles.  Seems like those are the folks who are actually "doing the work of ISIS."  But hey, let's not examine facts, eh?
...the second [session] will focus on “combating the massive threats from Trump and Congress in 2017.”
Again, imagine the reaction of the media if the situation was reversed!
A session that before the election had been titled “Can Our Elections Be Hacked,” after the election was renamed “Was the 2016 Election Hacked” — a theory that has percolated without evidence on the left to explain the surprising result.
Expect to see the Left push this meme hard in the coming months:  that Trump was elected because of hacking by the Russians.  Oh there was certainly election fraud all right.  Scores of voters reported that after they voted for Trump, those who took the time to review all their selections before hitting "submit" found that ONE selection ONLY was changed:  Their vote for president.

There is no innocuous explanation for this.  "Mis-calibrated touch-screens" would produce consistent wrong selections.  No, this was programmed in.  And I have yet to hear of any Democrat votes being switched to Trump--though I'm certain the Dems will invent a lot now.

Folks, if you want to live in a Mexico, or a Venezuela, support and vote Democrat.  But if you believe one set of laws should apply equally to everyone, don't vote Democrat.  Because their policies will turn this nation into Mexico faster than you can imagine.
