Labor force participation at a 25-year low
A couple of sobering stats:
Twenty-two cents of every federal dollar goes to service prior debt.
And the "labor force participation rate" is at a 25 year low, at 64.1%.
The first means nothing to the 40% of voters who are functionally innumerate. And very little to another 12% who dine at the government trough.
But you'd think the second point would be ghastly news for the Dems. But in fact, people who are out of work and getting a government check tend to look more favorably on big government and on taxing the rich at higher rates.
Wow, that fits so well with the Dem agenda that it's almost like...like...like this is a feature, not a bug.
