25 questions for Obama voters
So, some questions for all of you who voted for Obama:
Do you think "Cash for clunkers" was a wise plan, wisely executed?
Do you think the Obama administration giving 80-some Billion of your tax dollars to GM was a good idea, wisely executed? Sub-question: Do you believe the gummint has gotten it back, or will?
Do you believe the Obama administration's order blocking GM and Chrysler bondholders from collecting more than ten cents on the dollar was legal, or wise, or both?
Do you believe the $787 Billion "stimulus" law created millions of jobs? Do you believe it was an efficient way to stimulate the economy?
Even using the administration's numbers, do you know (within 50 thousand bucks) how much each job cost taxpayers?
Did you oppose American troops going to Iraq? If so, do you oppose Americans bombing in Libya with equal fervor?
Do you know what "quantitative easing" means? Do you know what it's almost certain to do?
Do you know if it's possible to tell what state issued a particular Social Security number just by looking at the number?
Do you think vote fraud should be tolerated?
Do you think it's reasonable to require people wanting to vote to show some form of photo identification?
Do you think gas is too expensive?
How much effect, if any, do you think the supply of gasoline has on its retail price?
Do you think we should be doing more drilling here at home--both on and offshore--or less than now?
Do you think the price of foods like bacon and cereal is rising significantly right now?
Have you heard that the world price of corn has risen almost 50 percent in the last year? If yes, do you have any idea why? (We'll make this one multiple-choice:)
a. Terrible weather in corn-growing regions of the world;
b. A fungus--thought to have been roused by global warming--devastated the corn crop in several nations;
c. The populations of several large European nations began importing corn syrup last year, after a ban was lifted.
d. About one-third of the corn grown by U.S. farmers is being diverted to produce ethanol for fuel.
All other things being constant, if demand for a product rises, do you think its price will go a) up; or b) down?
Do you believe humans make a significant contribution (more than half a degree per century) to raising average temperature on Earth?
Do you believe more CO2 being released by humans is causing global warming?
If you were shown conclusive proof that there had been a long period on Earth when there was much more CO2 in the atmosphere, but the planet was significantly colder than today, would you think something might be wrong in someone's theory?
Do you know if such conditions have ever existed on Earth?
Assuming you believe CO2 causes warming, do you believe it's reasonable that nations that emit the most CO2 should bear the greatest part of the cost to remedy that?
Do you believe it's fair that the worst emitter should bear no cost whatsoever?
Do you know how China, India and the U.S. rank in terms of CO2 emissions?
Obama has a social security number. According to the numbering scheme, that number would have been issued by a state. Do you know what state?
If you knew that Obama hadn't been anywhere near that state at the time he supposedly got his SS number, would you think it might be worth asking how that happened?
California, Illinois and a couple of other state governnments insist on spending more than they take in, year after year. If they keep it up, do you believe they'd eventually be forced into bankruptcy?
In that case, would you be willing for the federal government to step in and cover all the state's debts?
If California or Illinois went bankrupt, do you think Obama would bail out either one?
What percentage of tax income goes to service prior debt?
Okay, no big wrap-up, but I'd really be interested in hearing how you Dems and Progressives answer these very civil, easy questions.
