Hundreds of food-stamp fraudsters own Ferraris and Maseratis. Here's how

Democrats constantly expand welfare programs that give your tax dollars to Democrat voters--many of whom are fraudsters.

Example: food stamps.  Because corrupt Dem-ruled shithole states don't even TRY to detect fraud, even rich fraudsters can now get taxpayer-subsidized food stamps (EBT cards)--often under several different names.  The industrious ones use  the cards to buy food that they sell for cash.  They lazy sell the benefits for 50 cents on the dollar.

This lucrative grift was enabled by the Democrat-ruled congress when Democrat Bill Clinton was president, and the Obozo regime supercharged it.

The federal government gives the states cash for a dizzying arrary of programs, including "food stamps" (cunningly disguised as "SNAP"), Medicaid and dozens of other welfare programs.

Since this is "free money," Democrat states devised ways to increase what they were given.  The most widespread is a thing cunningly shortened to "BBCE."  Unless you're a government official you have no idea what that means--which is intentional.  

It stands for "Broad-based Categorical Eligibility."  Does that help tell you what it means?  Of course not, and that's also intentional.  What it means is that while "standard law" says you can only get food stamps ("SNAP benefits"--the EBT card) if you pass strict asset tests, like bank balances and income below a certain level.  BUT "BBCE" allows states to give federal SNAP dollars to anyone who's getting benefits from any OTHER welfare program.

This allows people with $50,000 in the bank and a Maserati in the garage to get food stamps.

Currently 43 states and DC use BBCE to bypass federal eligibility limits on income, assets or both to get food stamps.  And Dem-ruled states have decreed that if someone is given something as minimal as a brochure describing welfare benefits, or a telephone number to the welfare agency, that qualifies as getting a welfare benefit.

That person is then treated as being “categorically eligible” for food stamps—making even wealthy fraudsters eligible.  Own a Lambo or Maserati?  No problem, noble citizen!

Welfare fraud isn’t an accident. It is by design. The more welfare (tax dollars) Democrats give to their base, the more power they achieve by enlisting an ever-larger army of freeloaders--and the faster the U.S. reaches inevitable bankruptcy.

How widespread is the abuse?  The Foundation for Government Accountability found that 14,000 EBT recipients bought new luxury vehicles like Maseratis or Ferraris in just one corrupt state.

Another invitation to fraud--eagerly exploited by fraudsters--is that Democrats ordered that people applying for food stamps ("SNAP benefits") don't have to confirm their identity in any serious way.  Something as flimsy as a library card will so.  And as a result, many SNAP recipients claim benefits from several states--or even from overseas, as shown by IP addresses.

A foreign fraudster can get food stamps faster than you can get through to the IRS helpline.

But congress refuses to close the BBCE loophole.
