Sometime in the next seven days the U.S. national debt will top $40 TRILLION

And if that doesn't shock ya (and it doesn't), consider that since just paying the interest on that debt now cost us $1.5 Trillion every year--all of which must be borrowed!--that debt is growing like crazy.

"How fast is it growing?"  You won't believe it.  Analysts say the debt will explode from $40 Trillion to $50 Trillion in less than three years.

I've been warning y'all about this for years now, but since I'm not a government whiz-kid, people just shrug.  But finally the experts are starting to wake up.  This isn't a "conspiracy theory" or some random blogger guessing: Bank of America just predicted that the $50 trillion debt will be reached in July 2029.

A tad under three years from now.

Here's a piece from the shitheads at ABC, way back when the debt was just $31.4 Trillion.  When do ya think that was, eh?

It was $31.4 Trillion just over three years ago: May of 2023.  So since the debt provably, demonstrably, unequivocally grew by $8.6 TRILLION in just three years, the idea that it'll increase by another TEN Trillion in just three more years shouldn't strike you as hard to believe.

Note how relatively flat the curve is until about 1970, when all the Dems' vast welfare state got into high gear.  Since then the curve has climbed at an ever-increasing rate, as pols realized they could buy votes by giving voters "free stuff."

As the debt continues to grow, we'll have to borrow even MORE money to pay the extra interest on the added debt--which we've been doing all along.  Plus, old U.S. debt is at a lower interest rate than current paper, so even if the corrupt, worthless congress were to magically stop spending more than the govt takes in, the amount we're forced to pay in interest would continue to increase.

Probably less than ten percent of Americans understand what you've just read.  Most of those don't care, and even fewer have any idea what's gonna happen.  So...what can we do about it?

First to be brutally honest:  It's too late to avoid the train wreck.  There are only three "relevant" responses: First is for congress to drastically cut spending. But of course they won't do that.  Never.  You show 'em the $8.6 TRILLION increase in the three years from  2023 to 2026, then the expert projections of another TEN trillion increase by July of 2029--less than three years away--and they'll literally run away rather than explain why this is either FAKE NEWZ or not a problem.

News flash: We're in this mess because the people who run congress are by turns stupid, corrupt, greedy, stubborn and useless.

Second option: congress cranks up the printing presses and prints a few trillion in crisp new $100 bills.  Not only won't that help, it'll make things way worse because it will trigger "hyperinflation," like in Venezuela and every other nation that's tried it.  The problem there is that in two months--virtually overnight--the value of all savings will be driven to zero.  Hyperinflation means you're stupid to save even a dollar, since a month from now it'll be worth ten cents.  Everyone is wiped out.  AND it still doesn't solve the problem of congress INSISTING on spending more than it takes in, every year.

The third possibility is to default on the debt.  Of course this means no nation will loan us billions for 15 years or so.  At least that would eliminate $1.5 trillion a year in interest paid--though much of that will be to Americans.  And to banks.  And you can bet the banks will use bribes to get congress to continue to pay interest on their T-bills.  Oh yew bet.

But congress still spends more each year than we take in.  If no one will loan us money, where will that money come from?

That puts us back to the second option: print the cash, meaning hyperinflation.

Short answer: there's no way out.  Stupid, selfish, corrupt, power-hungry members of congress devised this disaster--and many of the ones in congress today have made it much worse.  And yes, we know the sons of bitches were elected (maybe) by voters, so the NY Times will blame...voters.  But the truth is that almost EVERY member of congress gets corrupted by the cesspool of DC.  By the power.  By lavish, fawning, slobbering praise--and even more lavish campaign contributions.

So...sadly we can't escape what's coming.  And it's gonna be ugly.  But I can tell you how to keep it from happening again:  Automatic ten-year prison terms for the ten most corrupt congresswhores grifters every year, along with forfeiture of pension and confiscation of all assets.  Yes, their families will suffer.  Sorry about that.  Maybe churches can start GoFundMe's to keep the families from starving.
