"Irish socialist magazine" shows how all socialists "think"

From the Irish socialist mag "Rupture" comes this bizarre, moronic rationalization about supporting Russia's invasion of Ukraine:

How we respond to this crisis is important NOT in relation to how socialists can contribute to ensuring a just peace in Ukraine, but because we are likely to see more conflicts with a similar character in the coming years. 
  Getting it ‘right’ is important because it will enable us to take principled positions in the inter-imperialist conflicts to come. 
  For all who define ourselves as revolutionary Marxists, a common point of understanding is an appreciation of the disastrous consequences of the betrayal of the vast majority of socialists supporting their ‘own’ side with various justifications in World War I.

What the everlasting FUCK?  What kind of drug-fueled insanity is this?  This moron rationalizes Russia's invasion of Ukraine as being caused by World War ONE?  Jesus!
