Ahhh, former Democrat--who almost won control of Florida

Unless you follow politics closely (spoiler: virtually none of you do) you probably don't remember Andrew Gillum.  Black Democrat who was the mayor of Tallahassee for four years.

(For young Americans "educated" in public skoolz, Tallahassee is the capital of Florida.)

Gillum was a huge star in the state's Democrat partei [sic], so the Democrat-fellating Mainstream Media LOVED him.  Clearly a model Democrat.  So in 2018 he won the Democrat nomination for governor, facing Ron DeSantis.

Gillum lost, but just by 30,000 votes.  The Dems were that close to taking over Florida.

Then just two years later, in 2020, Gillum and another man were found dazed and confused inside a room at a Miami hotel, with drugs--including meth--everywhere.

But hey, no problem, citizen:  Prosecutors never charged Gillum or the other man in the room because the drugs were not found actually in their hands or with their names on the drugs.  As the prosecutors artfully said, "the drugs were not on their persons."

Druggies listen up: never be alone with illegal drugs!  Cuz as long as someone else is in a hotel room with scads of drugs, and none of the drugs has your name on 'em, you can't be prosecuted!  See?

(That's "defendants' drug rule #2."  Rule #1 is to stay in Democrat-run jurisdictions, where the DAs won't charge.)

See, even though Florida is majority Republican, Miami (Dade County) is totally controlled by Democrats, so prosecutors knew not to charge their recent candidate for fucking governor with anything.  And of course the Lying Mainstream Media circled the wagons, and the story quickly disappeared.

It's so great that the Dems rule the Media, eh?

Of course druggies almost never stop using, and last week Gillum was arrested in Alabama for "drug  offenses" (no details).

Now: this dude didn't just get into drugs after running for governor.  And top members of the Democrat partei in Florida knew he was a druggie and likely homosexual.  But they ignored both, cuz...power, citizen.  Cuz after all, Colorado has a gay governor living with his husband in the governor's mansion--and the voters of Colorado said "We are totally happy wif dat!"

SO...top Florida Dem partei officials eagerly embraced Gillum--drugs and all--because he offered them a chance of taking total control of the state.  Meaning corrupt election workers wouldn't be fired.  And it was a good bet, since he came within 30,000 votes of winning.

Fast-forward to Graham Platner:  Some Dems in Maine surely knew about his abusive past.  But the party shrugged and bleated "Rape is NOT a character flaw, deplorable!  Dis man wud make a GREAT senator--a perfect leader for ouah partei!  See, we "believe all women"--unless dey accusing ouah candidates!  So we're perfectly willing to overlook a few...allegations!  After all, none of us is perfect, right?"

The Democrat partei will eagerly embrace any candidate, regardless of character, if the Partei believes he or she has a good chance of winning.  They've sold their souls--or would have, if they believed in a soul--for power.

Say, how's that workin' out for ya?

California Dems: "Great!  Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass are amazing!  Dey iz runnin the state and L.A. jus' faaaabulously!"

How's that workin' out for ya, Chitcongo?  Illinois?

Dems: Chicago is faaabulous, thanks!  Mayor Brandon Johnson is duh BEST!  Totally dreamy!  So is governor JB Pritzker!"

Of course yew don' believe ANY of dis, cuz yew nevah heard it in duh Mainstream Media.

Andrew Gillum, almost governor of Florida

The more ya know, the more you wanna grab a weapon.
