"If most U.S. highschool grads can't do math, how can they compete in a world job market?"

A commenter on another site noted that only 25% of highschool kids tested "proficient" in math.  A second commenter tied this to Hahvahd's extremely guuud decision to offer highschool math to their freshmen students ("fresh-person"?) because...um..."inclusivity," citizen.

That prompted a third commenter to ask, "How are young Americans (who can't do math) going to compete in a world job market?"

To get the answer we asked two of the smartest members of congress, Jasmine Crockett and AOC.

"Simple," they explained:  "Why should Americans have to do jobs foreigners can do?  Our party's research predicts that in five years 10% of Americans will be recording artists, 9% will be actors, 20% will be "social-media influencers" (the fastest-growing job class in the world!), 12% will "do podcasts," like duh faabulous Michelle Obama!
17% will be selling formerly-illegal-but-newly-legalized drugs, 6% will be "transgender activists," and counselors, 8% will have powerful jobs in government or congress--like us--passing laws an' tellin' y'all whut yew gotta do an' sheeit.  The rest will be drawing welfare while also being available to burn Teslas or dealerships or anything else ordered by the "organizers of totally spontaneous, grass-roots protests"-- at least when they're not protesting against Globull Worming or claiming Trump is worse than Hitler.
SEE, deplorables?  It easy!  While duh teachers' unions are doing a faabulous job (as always!), we don't reeally need no mo' edjacation to have a faabulously diverse, equitable populace!"
