Turns out this is part of the corrupt "foreign aid" the U.S. gives other nations every year.--and the details are stunning:  According to a report by the "Special Inspector General for Afghan Reconstruction" ("SIGAR"), since the U.S. withdrawal (fucked up by the biden regime and his wokie generals) has given the Taliban $1.8 BILLION in 2022 and another $1.1 BILLION just thru August of 2023--meaning likely $1.8 billion for the whole year.  And that graft is continuing today.

“The U.S. is the largest international donor to Afghanistan, having provided about $2.6 billion in funding to the UN, other international organizations (PIOs), and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) operating in Afghanistan since August 2021,” said the SIGAR report (which again only covered thru August of that year).

The money is actually delivered by the corrupt United Nations, which insists that the money be in CASH, as they claim Afghanistan lacks any way to wire funds.

Every week the U.N. flies cash from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to the Taliban-controlled Afghanistan Central Bank which is managed by a terrorist who is on an active U.S. sanctions list. That bank then claims to hold an “auction” where various NGOs  bid to take those dollars and convert em to the local currency.  And every week the winner of that auction is someone associated with the Haqqani Network, a terror group with ties to Al-Qaeda 

Based on a corrupt increase to $2 BILLION a year, that's about $40 million a WEEK.  The money is totally controlled by the Taliban.  And yet the biden/harris/blinken regime is totally fine with that.
