The saga of Harvard's board and its appointment

Claudine Gay was and is a person of no significant talent or accomplishment, yet was appointed president of Hahvahd.  Her meager "research" contained entire paragraphs lifted from the works of other scholars, without attribution.

For those late to the game, before Claudine did it, that's always been a career-ending move.

Hahvahd's governing board appointed her president because she was both female and black.  And having clearly done so for that reason, they weren't about to even admit she'd plagiarized, let alone fire her.

For the wokiez on the board (led by billionaire heiress Penny Pritzker), naming the clearly unqualified black female as president of Harvard was a thumb in the eye of a society and system the Left (which Harvard's board most certainly is) views as racist and sexist.

So how'd that work out, eh?

For recent "immigrants" to this country, the Left categorizes people into two classes: "oppressor" and "oppressed."  As the Left sees it, any crime by a member of the so-called "oppressed" group must not be punished, cuz "dey oppressed."  So anything is permitted.

Conversely, members of groups that the Left brands are "oppressors" can be fired merely for disagreeing with a member of the supposedly oppressed class.  That's the basis for the "cancel culture."

For example, uttering the obvious truth that men can't become women (or vice-versa) sends the Left into fits of rage.  They demand that the speaker be fired, often comparing him (or her--J.K. Rowling) to Hitler.

Seems clear that everything wrong with our nation--every calamity--is caused by the Leftist-Progressive movement and its political home, the Democrat Party.  But because they control the Media and Hollywood, they've been able to brainwash generations into believing that our nation itself is evil and illegitimate.

How's that working out, eh?
