Moron Democrat pols who rule Baltimore sue carmakers for thugs stealing cars. Seriously

Just when you think the Democrat rulers of shithole cities couldn't possibly get any more stupid, they get more stupid.

Got a problem with thugs raping girls in your Democrat shithole city?  The solution is simple, peasant: Make it against the law for girls to go out after 6pm without a male security guard!

Got a problem with arsonists?  Simple: File a lawsuit against companies that make or sell lighters and matches.  See?

Got a problem with lawless thugs of a certain ethnicity stealing cars?  Simple: File a lawsuit against the carmaker claiming that their cars are too easy to steal!  See?

Now, most rational people immediately recognize that the responses above, by crime-infested Democrat-run cities, aren't reasonable responses--let alone solutions.  But the Democrats ruling Baltimore, Seattle, St. Louis "and a number of other cities" don't care.

Astonishingly (or not, depending on how long you've been alive), to Democrat politicians the last "solution" sounds perfekly reasonable.

Thursday, May 11, 2023:  Today, the City of Baltimore joins Seattle, St. Louis, and a number of cities nationwide by filing a lawsuit against Hyundai and Kia for failing to equip their vehicles with industry-standard vehicle immobilization technology.

Without this feature, vehicles can be started without a key, a flaw that has been the subject of numerous TikTok videos demonstrating the ease with which these cars can be stolen.

Five hundred seventy-seven Kias and Hyundais have been stolen in Baltimore so far this year--more than twice the pace of last year.

"These cost-cutting measures employed by Hyundai and Kia at the expense of public safety are unacceptable," said Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott. "They have left our residents vulnerable to crime."

Hey asshole, YOU left your residents vulnerable to crime, by failing to jail the bastards.  So like all Democrat pols you're looking for someone else to blame.

"Auto theft is up 95% compared to last year, with Kia and Hyundais representing 41% of all stolen vehicles," said [nameless Dem shithead].  "We must demand more from these manufacturers in cutting vehicle thefts, which put victims in harm's way.

Wow, like blaming makers of lighters for arson, eh?  Blame the car makers for the thugs stealing cars, and then add that it puts victims in harm's way?  Who are the Dem morons saying are the victims who are "put in harm's way," eh?  After a car's stolen, the owners aren't in harm's way.  Sounds like the Dem rulers are saying the thug thieves are the victims, since they might be inclined to run from the cops (if any dared to pursue).  

And wait...isn't there some sort of "law" against stealing cars?  Why not tell the thieving thugs that if they're caught we'll imprison you for 20 years?   Oh, yeah, I forgot:  Democrat voters.
