Leftist elites now telling readers "Do NOT cast your vote in November based on high gas prices."
The so-called "elites" think voters are stupid. I certainly understand why the elites think that, since normal Americans believe anything the elites and their Media allies spout, even if it's obviously bullshit.
For example, the Mainstream Media is now specifically warning voters not to vote based on high gas prices in November.
The Mainstream Media never tired of telling Americans that there was no inflation. After inflation got so bad that the "no inflation" claim became ludicrous, the Media switched to echoing bidenfail's bullshit line that "Inflation is actually GOOD." (Yes, he said that.)
That was such obvious horseshit that even the Media couldn't echo that for long, so they all switched (at the same moment!) to "It's just transitory."
Well, guess we'll see. Every indication is that the huge spikes in diesel, for example, haven't even started to kick in yet, so my guess is that we'll see inflation in the 9 to 10 percent range at least thru October. Hope your grown kids can withstand the increased spending.
Anyway, on Sunday Washington Post columnist Catherine Rampell warned voters to "think carefully about what they’ll get if they cast their ballot based on gas prices."
Catherine probably drives less than 50 miles a week. By stark contrast, the average American drives about 300 miles a week. So what doesn't mean much to elite Catherine bites normal Americans pretty hard.
Fellow leftist Tiffany Cross (MSNBC) said "This constant storyline of inflation, and people are feeling it at the grocery store. So it is challenging when, come November, when it's time to cast a ballot." She said she wondered "how seriously" voters took the threat of Republicans winning in November.
"The threat of Republicans winning in November." There's your f'ing "unbiased" Mainstream Media.
"The View" host Joy Behar said Biden had no responsibility for the energy crisis and said Republicans just wanted to make Biden "look bad."
Listen to the elites--like Catherine, and Tiffany, and Joy. Do NOT vote GOP in November just because it costs you a hundred bucks to fill your SUV. Cuz that's just an illusion, citizen! Transitory! Or if it does exist, it's a Good Thing. Really.
Your elites--your rulers, your betters--have spoken. Listen and obey, peasant.
