Democrats see this as the way to make things "better," and to stop alleged "Gobal Warming"

...cuz reasons.  Ask 'em where they think the electricity they use NOW comes from.  

Ask 'em which they think is more efficient: a diesel generator or a natural-gas-fired powerplant.

Ask 'em "What's the range of a $40,000 electric car compared to a $23,000 Honda Civic?

Ask 'em "How long do the batteries on an electric car last?"

Ask 'em "How much does it cost to replace those batteries when they die?" 

Ask 'em "Do you admit that glaciers in Alaska, mapped from 1760 to 1900, showed those glaciers constantly retreating?  Doesn't that suggest that "global warming" was happening before the first cars existed?"

Ask 'em, "Since all the answers to those questions are deal-breakers, don't ya think maybe the people who are pushing this utter horseshit on ya just maybe aren't trying to make the U.S. better, but are actually trying to kill our economy?"

Watch their mannerisms as they respond.  Listen to how brazenly they dodge the questions, so they can avoid having to answer things they know cut against their bullshit.
