What U.S. cities have the highest murder *rates*? And how do those compare with other nations?

If you get your info from the Mainstream Media, what U.S. cities would you guess have the highest murder *rates*?  Chitcongo?  Philly?  Baltimore?  NYC?  LA?

From what the Mainstream Media tells you, you'd guess one of those.  That's because the Mainstream Media doesn't give a damn about smaller cities.  But surprisingly, some smaller U.S. cities have murder rates three times higher than L.A's.

For example, in 2021 805 people were murdered in Los Angeles, for a rate of 20.7 per 100,000 residents.  But take a look at the list below:  The per-capita murder rate in Jackson, Mississippi is nearly five times higher than Los Angeles.  Yet the Media never whisper a word about these smaller cities.  Interesting.

To get an idea of how these murder rates compare, here are the countries with the highest murder rates in 2017 (per 100k people):

1. El Salvador (61.7)
2. Honduras (41.0)
3. Venezuela (49.9)
4. United States Virgin Islands (49.3 [2012 data])
5. Jamaica (56.4)

Note that the worst three U.S. cities all have higher murder rates than the nation with the highest rate in the whole world.  And all our top ten worst cities have higher rates than all but the worst foreign nation.

Yet you've never heard a word of this from the Mainstream Media.  Are you surprised?  I'm not at all defending the Democrat shitholes of Chitcongo, Philly, Baltimore, NY, DC or LA, but just showing you the numbers so you'll understand that a) extremely high murder rates are a problem all across the U.S.; and b) you can't trust the Mainstream Media to tell you anything real.

Like, "the vaccine is safe and effective." And "If you take the vaccine you can't catch duh virus."  And "Trust us, we would NEVAH order everyone to take the vax.  'Vaccine mandates'?  Don't be absurd!"

Uh-huh.  How'd all those things work out for ya?
