Economy is booming! Added a staggering 194,000 jobs last month. That great, right?

Say, I'm sure glad the economy is booming!  And it's all because of the faaabulous leadership of the biden/harris* regime!  The jobs report for last month was released today, so let's see how the economy did:

Turns out the economy added a whopping 194,000 new jobs last month!  Man, that's booming!  Guess with all the lockdowns ending, we can expect great numbers like this for at least several more months, eh?

Wait...what?

You say "most economists had expected the economy would add far more jobs than that"?  That's pretty vague.  Got any actual numbers for us?  What was the concensus forecast? 200,000?  That would only be a paltry three percent over the actual number.  Geez, you conservatives are SO damn picky!

Wait...you say the concensus forecast was WHAT?  500,000 ??   Geez, if that was really the forecast, 194,000 would be a HUGE miss--an embarrassingly weak performance.  It would make headlines across the country.  But since it hasn't, what can we conclude?  Yep:

"Dis not possible!  Dis lie by right-wing extremists!  You go now!"

Sorry, snowflakes, it's true.  And it was the second month in a row that the number of jobs added was far below the concensus forecast.

But dispite the huge miss, you'll be relieved to learn that the unemployment rate dropped, to a glowing 4.8%.  This is curious, since when Trump was running the country the experts said we needed to add 234,000 jobs every month just to keep unemployment from rising.  See, every month more people leave school and theoretically join the workforce, and foreigners with green cards do the same.  But due to the magic of Democrat math, under the biden/harris regime we can add 40,000 fewer jobs per month than we had to add to stay even under Trump, and STILL reduce unemployment!

Is that cool or what?

Democrat leaders: you were handed an economy in the midst of a strong recovery and you squandered that opportunity by burdening it with vax mandates, paying locked-out workers to stay home, and now firing perfectly healthy frontline workers who sacrificed all through the pandemic.

We’ve been patient, but our patience is wearing thin.
