Biden* regime takes a page from "1984," bans govt agency from using the term "alien"
In George Orwell's frightening novel "1984," The Party has inverted the meaning of thousands of words. For example, the protagonist works in a government agency officially named the Ministry of Truth, but his job is to delete every news story printed years earlier if that story contradicts the Party line today.
The Ministry of Love tortured citizens who opposed the Party. This warping of words led to the famous sayings by Party propagandists: "War is Peace," "Freedom is Slavery" and "Ignorance is Strength."
The Biden*/Harris regime (NMP) has eagerly embraced these Orwellian tactics.
The government has an agency called "Citizenship and Immigration Services" (USCIS), and the staff of that agency received a memo — dated February 12 — titled "Terminology Changes." The memo tells what terms employees are to use, and what they are NOT to use, regarding illegal aliens.
One of the no-no terms is...wait for it... "alien." It's to be replaced by "noncitizen."
Even more banned is "illegal alien," replaced by "undocumented noncitizen or undocumented individual."
The Biden lackeys have even banned the term "assimilation," which was once thought to be a good thing. Now replaced by "integration, civic integration."
Biden may not be a Leftist, but Harris is, and in any case the Left is definitely controlling policy for this regime. One of the Left's standard tools is to control the language. It's what they did here.
And you'll keep seeing it, because it works.
Of course this sounds so conspiratorial that you can't believe it, eh? Here's the source.
