Reporters aren't allowed to ask questions of Dem candidates for the 3rd day in a row

Today marked the third day in a row that Dem candidates Biden and Harris held a press conference lecture without allowing reporters to ask any questions.  As the reporters were being herded out of the room by a staffer a few were heard muttering about how unusual this was.

Fortunately the leaders of the Mainstream Media soon turned the mood around before it spread.  Rachel Maddow said "Why does anyone need to ask questions of Democrat candidates?  We all know exactly where they stand on every topic, since we all agree.  It would just be a waste of time."

Andrea Mitchell agreed:  "To ask questions we'd have to un-mask.  Given this awful virus that Trump inflicted on us by ignoring Science, it's far safer not to ask questions in person.  Much safer to just submit written questions."

Maureen Dowd agreed:  "Not asking questions is far more sophisticated, because that way each of us can rely on Kamala's body language and nuance to understand her on a deeper level.  Well, and the other fellow too, of course."

The Washington Post's David Ignatius agreed:  "These are all great ideas.  All we need to do is convince voters that there's no need to ask our favorite candidates any questions.  That should be easy, since voters trust us to always tell them the truth.  Like how wonderfully secure all-mail voting will be."
