Then watch the video below.  It's from a series called "In Search Of," in 1978.  Following the consensus thinking of the really reeeallly smaht PhD's of that day, it warns that the next ice age was imminent!  "You're all gonna DIE--freeze to death!"

Cuz, see, around 1965 carbon dioxide levels plummeted, and since CO2 drives global temperatures, that meant...

Hahahahahaha!  No, CO2 levels have steadily risen every year since we started keeping records.  Seriously.  Go see for yourself.  They've never gone down in the last 100 years or so.

But wait...if atmospheric CO2 drives the temperature of Earth's climate, and has never fallen in the last century, how could scientists--and the Media--have seriously claimed a new ice age was coming in just a few years?

Ooooh, how indeed?

Would you believe the "scientists" just pulled it out of their ass?

Yep.  They took a short-term trend and extrapolated it as if it would continue for a century or so.

Geez, that doesn't sound very...scientific, eh?

Why no, it doesn't.  Which brings us to global warming--excuse me: "climate change."  Specifically, for the theory that CO2 levels drive Earth's average temperature to be correct, if CO2 didn't drop, how could Earth's temperature drop enough to make "scientists" think an ice age was just around the corner?

Yeah, that's a poser.  But repeat after me, citizen:
