Dems respond to death of Iran's top terror general in an interesting way

WASHINGTON, D.C.—At a press conference on Capitol Hill Friday, Democrat leaders called for flags to be flown half-staff to honor the death of Qasem Soleimani.

Flags were already being flown at half-staff at Washington Post, The New York Times and in front of several celebrities' homes.  Many celebrities bought an American flag for the first time just to be able to fly it at half-staff to show their grief.

Rep. Ilhan Omar tweeted "As a nation we need to stop and grieve over the totally unprovoked murder of this great, austere, revered Iranian religious scholar."

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez didn't seem sure what was happening but adjusted her glasses to look smart.

A teary-eyed Barack Obama was also seen solemnly lowering the flag in front of his seaside mansion. "To think, this could have been prevented if we'd just sent a few pallets of cash."  He sighed and stared off into the distance, a look of pain on his face.  "If only Trump had targeted a U.S. citizen with a drone strike instead."
