Californians passed law decriminalizing theft up to $950. How'd it work out for 'em?
This is a hoot: A couple of years ago the brilliant Democrats who rule California started a petition to put a "proposition" on the ballot. (Like many states, California allows citizens to put on questions on the ballot for a statewide vote on whether to make it state law.) Proposition 47 ordered prosecutors not to prosecute anyone for stealing anything under $950.
Re-read that last sentence again as you read the name the communists gave this POS: They named Proposition 47 the "Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act."
Yeah, seriously. "Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act." By ordering prosecutors not to prosecute theft under $950!
If that strikes you as an utter lie--a deliberate attempt to fool morons--you're right. You already know what was absolutely, positively, unavoidably gonna happen if this POS passed, right?
Sure enough, this lie passed. So how's that working out for the state?
