Democrats blame their losses on...the Constitution. And they want to change it.

Furious at Kavanaugh's confirmation, Democrats--like everyone on the left--are convinced that their losses can be blamed on...the Constitution.

Seriously, they claim the US Senate is "an immoral, anti-democratic institution."  Same for the electoral college system of electing the president.  And same for the Supreme Court--which they loved when it had a majority of leftist judges, but now consider "illegitimate."

You probably think I'm kidding, eh?  Nope.  That statement that the U.S. senate is "an immoral, anti-democratic institution" is a direct quote from a ghastly leftist website called  ThinkProgress.

And that's not just the idea of one leftist writer at one Constitution-hating website.  Leftist site Vox said the Senate is “a grotesquely unrepresentative body.”

Of course House seats have always been given in proportion to population, but after failing to defeat Kavanaugh's nomination Democrats are wailing that only having one chamber apportioned by population gives them enough power.  So they want to change the Constitution so they'll have more senators too.

But they don't want to do that by the legal method of trying to amend the Constitution, because doing that would require ratification by two-thirds of the states--which they can't get (unless they take control of a dozen or so small states).

They haven't said how they propose to change the Constitution without amending it, but it's a good bet they'll come up with something.  The rat-bastards never stop trying to grab more power.
