All the admissions of non-citizens voting in the midterms is coming out--after it's too late
All the evidence of Dem-ruled states deliberately mailing ballots to non-citizens is coming out--and now it's too late to do anything about it: All the illegal votes will be counted.
In almost every state, elections are controlled by the "secretary of state." In the Dem-ruled shit-hole of Washington State that's a Democrat (of course) named Steve Hobbs. During a press conference last week Hobbs not only admitted there are non-citizens on the voter rolls, he admitted, “We don’t have a system that can identify if someone is actually a noncitizen.”
This admission didn't seem to bother Hobbs a bit.
The U.S. Attorney for the area said the state's deliberate refusal to check citizenship threatens election integrity. Gee, ya think?
U.S. Attorney: “The state is knowingly mailing ballots to non-citizens."
Hobbs's statement admitting the state had no way to verify U.S. citizenship came after the DOJ showed his office evidence that over 400 suspected non-citizens had voted in prior elections, and asked Hobbs to sequester ballots from the suspected non-citizens until their citizenship could be verified.
As you could have guessed, Hobbs refused to sequester the ballots and verify citizenship. Instead Hobbs disputed the accuracy of the list, saying it included some American citizens "and had other wrong entries."
A reporter quickly asked Hobbs how he could be sure the list included U.S. citizens when he'd just admitted the state had no way to verify citizenship. Hobbs replied that an immigrant-rights group had said this was true, and that his office believed 'em without bothering to check.
Several reporters repeatedly asked Hobbs how he could confidently characterize non-citizen voting as rare if the state had never bothered to verify citizenship. The classic:
>>“How can you claim voting by non-citizens is rare when by your own admission the state has no way of checking citizenship?” >>
Hobbs responded by changing the subject.
The reporter pressed: “If you have no idea if a ballot was cast by a non-citizen, how do you know it's not a widespread issue? And if it's rare, as you claim, why do you refuse to share voter registration rolls with the DOJ as they asked, so they can do it, at their expense?”
Hobbs responded by claiming that releasing lists of registered voters would violate federal privacy protections, and pointed to court decisions (by leftist judges) supporting states rejecting demands for voter information. He reiterated his refusal to allow federal investigators to have access to lists of registered voters.
He also described a state rule requiring registered voters accused of not being U.S. citizens to have time to respond before being removed from the list of registered voters. "Unfortunately five days before the election is too late to give them time to respond, so...better luck next election, suckers."
At least that was the gist of his response.
The reporter wouldn't be swatted down: "You're still not answering the question, which is, how can you claim voting by non-citizens isn't a widespread issue when you just admitted the state doesn't bother to even try to confirm citizenship?"
Hobbs replied “Well, look, again, people attest to this every single time.”
This was puzzling, since ballots have no check-box saying "I declare that I am a U.S. citizen."
Hobbs again admitted that noncitizens are registered to vote, but then waved it away, saying
>>“The question is, are they actually voting? Merely being *registered to vote* when not a U.S. citizen is NOT a crime. In fact many sanctuary cities and states allow non-citizens to vote in non-federal elections, so we have to allow this.”
Starting to see how it works yet?
Hobbs argued non-citizens know they're not allowed to vote in federal elections, so they don't--presumably because they always obey U.S. law, eh?
The U.S. Attorney challenged that reasoning, saying “Non-citizens we've interviewed say they assumed that if the state sent them a ballot, they were allowed to vote.”
Starting to see how it works yet? Nah, you're not.
Hobbs’ October 28 written response said the federal list contained duplicate entries, inactive registrations and people who were no longer registered. He demanded specific evidence before election officials would decline to count a voter’s ballot.
The U.S. Attorney said “There is no longer ANY doubt that ballots are being mailed to non-citizens,” he said. “The only questions are, how many illegal votes are being counted in Washington, and what will the state do about it.”
He concluded: “The state clearly has no intent, nor the ability, to identify non-citizens and remove them from voter registration rolls.”
