School district in Massachusetts allows ONE group of students to carry a big knife in school
If you're a highschool student in the shithole of Massachusetts, think any school system would allow you to carry a knife in school?
Of course not.
Well, unless you're a member of a favored group, in which case you can carry one with an 8-inch blade. Cuz "freedom of religion," deplorables!
Hopkinton Public Schools in Massachusetts has a policy that specifically allows ONE religious exception to its strict no-weapons rule: Sikh students are allowed to carry a big knife, because it's totally "ceremonial"--part of their religion.
No other students can carry weapons. Just Sikhs. Cuz..."Freedom of Religion," eh?
Here's an interesting thought experiment: Suppose a group named "The religious society of hunters" made carrying a "totally ceremonial" knife an integral part of their religious ceremonies. Think any school system would allow THAT group to carry a "ceremonial knife" in school?
Of course not.
