Drive speeds around the national mall in DC. "Just a joke, deplorables."

A couple of days ago a man drove a black Jeep across the national mall in DC at high speed, terrorizing pedestrians.  

Thanks to cameras they got his license plate, and tracked the car to the guy's apartment in southeast DC.

Driver Curtis Lear said "Twas just a joke, deplorables!  Can't y'all take a joke?"

He was given a ticket for...failing to use a turn signal.  Seriously.

This is a perfect example of where our society is today.  When society tolerates "minor" uncivil behavior, you get more of it.  LOTS more.  Same when some groups pressure cities and states to stop arresting 'em for selling drugs.  Same with illegal aliens DEMANDING that they be allowed to commit crimes at will and still remain in the U.S., getting taxpayer-paid housing, food, medical care and college tuition. 

Once people realize society is no longer punishing people who do illegal shit, it goes to hell pretty fast.
