Three judges permanently bar Trump's tariffs; CNN gloats over the win

Yesterday (May 28) a 3-judge panel at the "U.S. Court of International Trade" blocked ALL of the tariffs Trump imposed, issuing a permanent injunction.

And of course you knew that, cuz you iz well-informed, eh?

Rational adults quickly realize that utterly destroyed the U.S. negotiating position,  How the hell can you get other countries to lower their tariffs on U.S. exports to their countries if a damn court says you can't raise U.S. tariffs on those nations, eh?

Oh, and the 3 judges also blocked the tariffs Trump imposed earlier this year on China, Mexico and Canada to combat fentanyl from those countries.

Eighteen Democrat-ruled states had sued to block the tariffs.  And yes, the Constitution gives congress (spit) the power to set tariffs.  But in an emergency--like about 100,000 Americans being killed every year by fentanyl--is the president barred from raising tariffs?  

And of course if the courts don't allow the president to set tariffs as a negotiating tool, we lose all negotiating leverage.  But of course you all knew that, right?

Anyone with an IQ over room temp knows Trump was using the threat of high tariffs to get nations with unfair tariff barriers to reduce their unfairly high tariffs on our exports.   But the three judges ruled that since the "International Emergency Economic Powers Act" doesn't mention tariffs, the president can't increase tariffs to fight an emergency.

The long CNN story is worth reading.  They positively gloat over the ruling.  And that's perfectly understandable because of who and what CNN is: an arm of the Democrat party.

Obviously if other nations had the same tariffs on U.S. exports as we have on their products, American businesses would sell a lot more goods.  But at least half of voters are entirely too stupid to  realize that.  Seriously. 

Now: You're not a business owner so you wouldn't benefit from higher U.S. exports.  But surely anyone with an average IQ can see that the existing tariff system cripples U.S. manufacturers.  But Democrats don't care.  And because Democrats control the Media, average Americans don't either.

Hellofa fine system, eh?  If this judicial "system" had been in place on December 7th, 1941, some shithead judges would have ruled that FDR's declaration of war was illegal.

Now: Half the population of the U.S. is moral, hard-working and honest.  They're worth saving.  But the leaders of the Democrat party seem determined to cripple the entire country, hoping they'll be able to rule over whatever's left.  And because ALL the courts seem to agree, I must reluctantly conclude that the country is not worth saving.

As another CNN story on this decision pointed out, because of the "uncertainty surrounding the tariffs, Trump’s whole economic policy plan could come crashing down."  And all negotiations with trading partners are now ended.  As a later CNN piece put it, "trading partners may want to hang back to assess the situation before resuming negotiations.

Gee, ya think?  CNN couldn't hide its glee.

 I realize 2 of the 3 judges on the "panel" that made this ruling were appointed by Republican presidents.  That means nothing, as many leftist judges have posed as conservative to win lifetime appointments.  (John Roberts, Amy Coney Barret)

The current system of "lawfare" by Dems, supported by leftist judges, ensures that the U.S. will be unable to respond to any aggression by, say, China.  We know it, and so does the Chinese communist party.  So barring a miracle (!) the end result is already set in stone.  And not having kids, I don't care anymore.
