Will "normies" awaken before it's too late?

I've noticed several conservative writers talking about "when the normies awaken," presumably to the knowledge that the biden regime, FBI, DOJ, HHS and DHS are totally corrupt, and that barring an asteroid the U.S. will soon be spending more on interest on our $32 TRILLION national debt than we spend on defense.  And that even though that's known, it's absolutely certain that "your" government will continue--every year--to spend far more than it takes in.

The "awakening" would include the realization that the Dems have doomed the U.S. by welcoming another 5 million unskilled aliens into the country, to get their votes.  So far what we've gotten is enough smuggled fentanyl to kill half the country, since 20 kilos is enough to kill a million people.

Or consider the covid jab *ordered* by biden.  I've seen the numbers of excess deaths, even as the CDC and FDA deny there are ANY.  Yeah, you bet.  If young, otherwise healthy Americans aren't dropping dead from the jab, do ya think it's...cosmic rays?  Poison in the drinking water?  Oh wait, dat right: they claim there aren't ANY excess deaths.  Just like the FDA cunningly implied that ivermectin wasn't approved for human use, to keep you from surviving.

This list could go on for another page, but in any case I don’t think most Americans will awaken before catastrophe hits.  There are several reasons they won't.  I think the most powerful is that no one wants to admit they were utterly conned.  Fooled--and by what they foolishly thought was "their own" gruberment.

Example: Every adult has heard of a friend who has a cheating spouse.  Everyone who knows the couple knows...except the friend, who absolutely refuses to see it, because it's too painful to admit.  That's what's happening with the sleeping sheep.

A second factor is that quite aside from the "No, that can't possibly be true!" phenomenon noted above, waking up to reality is really, REALLY scary, because as those of us who are proficient with numbers already realize, our lives are about to change for the worse, in countless ways.  

Example:  Do you enjoy being able to afford a decent steak once a month?  Driving to see your kids or parents a couple of times a year?  Like air conditioning now, or keeping your home at 68 degrees in winter?  All those and more will be out of reach for most Americans after the shit hits the fan.

I suspect all Democrats and independents will prefer to stay blissfully unaware until the crash--comfortable with awful Hollywood movies, drugs, alcohol, sports and deliberately misleading news (i.e. regime propaganda) until too late.
