How do you feel the U.S. is doing today?

The fortunes of the United States seem to have peaked around 1965.  One may quibble over the exact year, because the arc of that graph is fairly broad.  As one wag put it, it can take a couple of decades to destroy a great nation.

But one thing is certain: by virtually every metric our poor nation has become worse off for at least the past 50 years.

Today the U.S. has virtually no "social cohesion"--a shared sense of values and purpose.  Instead our nation seems to be divided into two groups--left and right--who seem to have diametrically opposed views on virtually everything.  

One of the two sides--conservatives--just wants to be left alone to raise their kids in peace.  By sharp contrast, the Left seems bent on destroying the country as we've known it.

It's important to note that the Left consists of two vastly different groups: one is the elites--politicians, Ivy-league grads, writers, Media and "entertainment" figures.  The other is the base: uneducated thugs who act as muscle--beating, robbing, killing, breaking laws with impunity, knowing they won't be charged because the Left runs the courts.  

By contrast, virtually no conservatives are products of elite universities.  Almost none work in the Mainstream Media.  

I suspect few "elite" Leftists--the cadre, to use  the revolutionary term--would openly admit to hating conservatives, but everything they push shows they do.  They demand that white children be taught that America is raaacist, meaning only whites are, since the Left hath decreed that minorities can't be.

They push public schools to push your kids to change genders, without telling you.  That alone tells you everything you need to know about Leftists.  Leftist-run public schools demand that boys NOT be called boys or male, but instead "person who produces sperm."  The adminishits bleat that this is supposedly "to align our curriculum with our equity policy."

The Left--Democrat elites--sneers at virtually everything conservatives value.  As Leftists see it, they're the intellectuals, while conservatives don't have enough sense to breathe.  As the Left sees it, the country would get along fine if all the conservatives vanished, but couldn't survive without the self-proclaimed brilliant leadership of the Left.

The Left demands that thugs be quickly released without having to post bail.  It demands that police be de-funded, and then punishes self-defense. It celebrates arson, looting, rioting and the mutilation and sterilization of children.  If you're white the left teaches your kids to blame themselves and the Founders for racism and inequality.

The Left demands open borders, allowing an endless wave of unvetted invaders, and demands that taxpayers give them free housing, food, medical care and cash.  

Leftists/Democrats demand that people be allowed to vote without showing that they're legally entitled to.  They've rammed through state laws allowing election fraud, and have tried to put control of all voting under federal control.

Finally (for now)--and outrageously--two leftist/Democrat professors who've been urging biden to pack the Supreme Court have written that when the court hands down a decision that Dems don't like, biden should simply ignore it!

Democrats--leftists--have brought us utter disaster.  And it's getting worse every day.
