Summary of the case for unprecedented biden family corruption

The Hunter Biden saga illuminates the Biden family's rapacious corruption, and even worse, the total corruption of federal agencies by the bidens to protect them.

Most Americans naively believe our government is at least somewhat honest and not badly corrupt.  But finally more people are starting to see the evidence that the reverse is true.

Hunter Biden is the perfect example of what a corrupt government produces: a privileged elite of boundless greed and degenerate morality, milking cash out of the trillion-dollar state by selling influence, while insulated from all legal consequences.

And inevitably, big businesses recognize that corruption and support it, since that's the way you get $100-million-dollar grants, loans and laws that help you and hamstring your competitors.  Think GM under Obozo.

Big business has long supported corrupt pols by donating vast sums to their re-election.  Under full socialism business goes from merely supporting the corruption to participating in the ruling Party's corrupt policiess. Hunty's style of influence peddling and racketeering always ends that way.

By now roughly half of the public recognizes that Hunty was offered a sweetheart plea deal for crimes that would put any of us ordinary working stiffs behind bars.  He didn't even file income tax returns for several years, as he bagged tens of millions in bribes--but he wasn't even charged for that due to the statute of limitations.

The DOJ reluctantly charged him for failing to pay income tax for just two more recent years.  So how much did he owe?  Ten thousand?  A hundred-thousand?  Half a million?

Brace yourself: he owed $2.8 million in taxes--without even considering that the vast income on which the tax was owed was a bribe--something the IRS wasn't even allowed to investigate.  And again, they didn't even charge him for failing to file taxes on which the statute of limitations had tolled.

If you or I didn't pay half a million bucks in taxes, how long a sentence would we get?  But the pampered princeling got...zero penalty. Yes, zero.

The entire "Justice" Department has been perverted to protect Hunty.  Just the fact that the DOJ *offered* him that plea deal should have triggered a revolution.

"Ordinary people" are hunted down by IRS agents for small mistakes.  That's the same IRS keeps leaking confidential data on the ruling Party's political enemies, and says it's never able to find the leaker.

Another crime that Hunty provably committed was lying on a federal firearms purchase form.   Thousands of Americans have been jailed for this same crime.  But Hunty is a princeling.  He's *special,* so for him, no punishment, just a special "diversion agreement."

Federal agencies even conspire to help him get away with it, by seizing evidence-- which can then vanish if necessary--as did Seth Rich's laptop.  (Google if necessary.)

Hunter is an example of how the ruling Party elite are completely insulated from the world they're forcing on the rest of us.  If you think this is reasonable, you're a Democrat.  And if we don't stop it, it will get worse.

Worse...how?  Well the Democrat Party has already unleashed a huge crime wave on the country: a few days ago at noon in Los Angeles a gang in black waltzed into a jewelry store, smashed the glass cases and waltzed out with $900,000--knowing they wouldn't be prosecuted.

The elites don't care about high crime because they have armed protection and live in gated communities. Their policies wrecked the economy but they don't suffer like the rest of us, because they're both connected and wealthy.  The case of corrupt Hunty, and the zero punishment, shows it.

The Founders didn't envision silver-spoon princelings of corrupt political dynasties who would be above the law, but that's what we've got.  The question is, How do we recover from this?

[Edited from Don Surber: The Biden Crime Family is... all of Washington DC:]

>>There is no way Joe will be impeached or Hunter will do any jail time.  The corrupt system protects its spawn, because that promise creates loyalty.

Hillary broke innumerable laws pertaining to handling beyond-Top-Secret information, but was never even charged.  James Comey, then FBI director, even testified before congress that no prosecutor he knew would charge her.

Comey even tacitly admitted that Hilly was getting a special deal, by warning in his public testimony that anyone else who did the same thing would be prosecuted.  But not connected, corrupt Hilly.

Comey's FBI spied on political opponents to please Barack Hussein Obama.  When this became public knowledge, do you know what a Republican-controlled House and a Republican Senate did?

Nothing.  No prosecutions were recommended. Paul Ryan likely laughed. He hates President Donald Trump with a passion because Trump is an existential threat to the Banana Republicans and their allies in the Democrat Party. Life is good in Washington. Everyone goes along to get along, and the pay is great.

Paul Ryan entered the House with almost zero net worth.  When he began his final term in 2017 his net worth was $7,307,041.

Biden never dreamed he would have to answer to the American people for any of his corruption, and that made him sloppy. He and his wayward son have left behind a substantial trail of evidence--including almost 100,000 emails on Hunty's abandoned laptop.  If that laptop had belonged to one of Trump's sons the Media would have screamed bloody murder.  But with Hunty the DOJ has been complicit in covering it up. That's called obstruction.

Shane Harris writes that DC's corruption will never be fully reported, both because the Media loves biden and because the regime won't permit it:

Conservatives looking to expose the full extent of the Biden family's corruption have a problem: the scandal might be too big to break.

Typically, taking down a politician over a corruption scandal requires the cooperation of three entities:  First the media, which reports  the details of the scandal, eroding public support.  Second, law enforcement must investigate, and if necessary press criminal charges. Third, the leaders of the corrupt politician's party need to abandon the politician as a matter of self-preservation.

If any of these factors are absent, the corrupt pol stays in power for the rest of his or her term.  And in this case, none of the three needed elements is present.

As House Republicans investigating the matter have released one bombshell report after another, the liberal media have simply refused to report it.  Literally, the big three broadcast networks have spent zero air-time on the biden corruption charges or plea deal.  Democrat shills like Dan Goldman (NY) claim Joe's phone calls to Hunty while he was meeting with foreigners seeking influence are all about the weather.  Dem leaders have claimed there's no substance to the charges.

By rights this should be the biggest scandal in U.S. political history, yet polls show less than half of Americans even know about it. The story is virtually absent from the pages of The Washington Post and The New York Times, while outlets like CNN and MSNBC haven't mentioned it at all.

Ahead of the 2020 election, they engaged in a relentless effort to discredit the New York Post's bombshell story about the infamous laptop that provided clear evidence of the Biden family's corruption...

Now, the media has a new spin to distract voters from the mounting evidence against the Biden family:  they're saying the story is really about...wait for it...a father's love for his drug-addicted son.  Every Democrat has embraced that line and will never worry about the actual evidence.

In June IRS whistleblowers testifed before congress that the FBI had authenticated the contents of Hunty's laptop way back in 2019 -- meaning that the nation's top cops knew the story about the abandoned laptop was legitimate when it broke in the New York Post three weeks before the 2020 election. But then Ron Klain asked the intelligence community to draft a letter saying the story looked like "Russian disinformation"--meaning you should ignore it.

Senate Republicans have also alleged that throughout Biden's term the FBI has refused to turn over evidence of the First Family's corruption, including by redacting documents showing a $5 million payment to the president from a Burisma executive.

With the FBI, the Media and the intel community all loudly debunking the charges against the Bidens, it's no surprise that most Americans don't know anything about the charges.

Jonathan Turley writes, "I think this is shaping up to be one of the greatest corruption scandals in Washington history."

Someone else wrote "When plunder by a nation's rulers becomes an accepted way of life, the society gradually creates a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that praises it."
