What the hell is this?

For the past 40 years or so, "fashion"--which is to say the crap designers roll out in their "shows"--has struck me as utter crap.  Of course I'm not "cool" so I prefer clothes that make women look attractive instead of like alien invaders.  But the crazies who design the hip, trendy crap clearly don't want that.

Instead they seem to go for shock value--which the hip, trendy spenders seem to drool over.  Back in the day we used to say they had far more money than brains.  Yep.

So finally one NY writer asked "Tell me what sort of occasion you'd wear this to."

I expect she won't have a job soon.
