Latest wail from liberals: "White paint is racist!" Yes, they're really claiming that

Nonsense cannot be reasoned with, so is not subject to argument.  Thus nonsense is a staple of grifters, con artists and ideologues.

The racial-grievance industry is constantly trying to find new symptoms of racism, since that can be exploited for huge amounts of cash and political power.  Since Whites have shaped so much of the modern world, race hustlers see Whiteness as the enemy.

Somewhat surprisingly, accusations of white oppression are eagerly embraced by white liberals.  No accusation is  too absurd for liberals to fawn over its alleged truth and brilliance.

Now they hustlers are even starting to demonize...wait for it...*white paint.*

Seriously.

Sane people quickly dismiss the idea that white paint is raaacist.  The reason it became so popular was that the chemical that gives that color--titanium dioxide--provides unusually good protection against the sun's ultraviolet rays.

If you're a young American you may not have noticed (yet) that things left outside for awhile, with no protection, deteriorate very quickly.  Bare wood, for example, warps and cracks in just a few years.  You may have noticed that almost no unpainted wooden buildings are older than 100 years or so.  There's a good reason.

Just after 1910 two Norwegian chemists stumbled on the UV-blocking properties of TiO2, and the industry was born.  But now the Norwegian government--overcome by white guilt due to years of accusations by race-hustling grifters--has given $1.2 million to a university to investigate the scary “planetary consequences” of white paint.

Seriously.  The grant proposal claims that “Whiteness is one of today’s key societal and political concerns.”

The country's "Artistic Research Program"--yes, the country's rulers really do spend tax dollars on "artistic research"--has given another $288,000 to Norway's National Academy of the Arts to "highlight TiO2’s materiality and ubiquity, and to contribute to critical thinking on the color white and its mineral origin.”

"Critical thinking on the color white and its mineral origin."  Seriously.

The grant proposal notes that white paint is "connected to racist attitudes.”

Racist attitudes, eh?  Would that be similar to the bleats of moronic black-studies "professor" Leonard Jeffries that black skin makes “sun people” inherently superior to “ice people” (whites)?  Nah, cuz white liberals buy the bullshit notion that blacks can't be raaacist.

Turns out "artistic research" is a sciencey-sounding gig for academics who believe truth is whatever some faculty member wants it to be.
