NPR scare story implies that reversing Roe could "threaten" contraception and sex-change operations. Really?

Let me show you one of the most common propaganda lies in the Democrat playbook:  Here's National Propaganda Radio on the leaked SC draft opinion, under the headline "

How the reversal of Roe v. Wade could impact the transgender community

Activists and supporters of the LGBTQ community say any decision to overturn Roe v. Wade could have significant consequences on vulnerable groups if privacy-related rights like access to contraception or gender-affirming care are threatened.

Now if you've read the draft opinion (spoiler: you haven't, and neither have 99.9% of Democrats screaming about it) you know it doesn't say a single word about "contraception or gender-affirming care."  Honest journalists would have put that in the article.  But NPR wants to scare Democrat voters into believing , all their not-too-bright followers have now made the intended connection, and believe overturning Roe will "threaten" contraception.

NPR editors: "No no no no, citizen!  We didn't do any propaganda here!  No misinformation!  Perish the thought!  We never said overturning Roe would "threaten acces to contraception or 'gender-affirming care' [sex-change operations].  The article clearly said "IF privacy-related rights like access to contraception or gender-affirming care are threatened."  We can't help it if people miss the "if" and draw the wrong conclusion!  That was NEVER our intent.  Swearsies."

But of course that was precisely NPR's intent.  But again, there's not a single word in the draft opinion mentioning contraception or "gender-affirming health care."

Other Dem propagandists have claimed overturning Roe would make abortion illegal--which it clearly would NOT.  Overturning would leave each state's voters to decide for their state.

Since the draft opinion was leaked, Joe Biden has repeatedly said the issue is "a lot bigger than abortion," and he specifically named LGBTQ rights and contraception rights as those specifically at risk.

"What are the next things that are going to be attacked?" he said, "because this MAGA crowd is really the most extreme political organization that's existed in American history — in recent American history."

In case you haven't gotten the message yet, biden said he believed the reasoning in the draft decision "would mean that every other decision related to the notion of privacy is thrown into question."

And NPR echoed all this nonsense with nary a correction or critical word.
