A month after the fall of Afghanistan, we still don't know who ordered the U.S. military to abandon Bagram airbase
A month has now passed since the disaster in Afghanistan, and after hearings in both the House and the Senate, we still don't know who ordered the U.S. military to simply abandon the huge, easily-defended Bagram Air Force Base 30 miles from Kabul.
Abandoning Bagram was an insane move, which is why that decision cries out to be investigated. But of course no one will ever get to ask the question, let alone cross-examine the person being questioned.
This is what you get when one party controls the entire government, including the courts. Laws will only be enforced on "little people," never on the corrupt, amoral assholes who run things.
Thanks, Democrats!
